What is a Bridal Session?
So, if you’re looking at this blog post, it’s probably because you’ve inquired with me about Wedding Photography for your big day! Yay! It’s come to my attention since beginning to offer bridal sessions in my largest package, that a lot of people don’t even know what they are! What started out as a Southern tradition has quickly taken the Wedding Photography world by storm, and I think they’re JUST as important as having an engagement session.
Here’s the scoop:
A bridal session is just YOU and that beautiful wedding gown you purchased thinking you’d only ever wear it for one day. Bridal Sessions make it possible to wear it TWICE.
You said “YES!” to the dress. We allow time for any and all alterations that you need to make, so that it fits you absolutely perfectly.
We set a date and decide on a location. Do I travel for Bridal Sessions? Yep! Can you just do it at your wedding venue? Also, yes!
Brides, this is the PERFECT time to schedule your hair & make up trial for your wedding day. You can even request a sample bouquet from your Florist!
You can bring along Mom, your Maid of Honor, Bestie, Aunt, Cousins, whoever YOU want that will make you feel most comfortable!
We play music, laugh, and snap some beautiful shots of you in your dress looking all dolled up, but most of all we HAVE FUN. Sometimes, on wedding days there are hiccups in the timeline we create for your day. Sometimes your hair and make up run a little later than planned for, and that’s OKAY! Having a bridal session is a great way to make sure we have plenty of photos of just you and that beautiful dress.
My brides LOVE to display these images in HUGE prints or canvases at their reception on their wedding day.
